T> has no morals itself, but the people who study science must be ethical human T> beings. When Einstein created the theory of relativity, he did not intend Science never asks that of people; and as a result people WRONGFULLY use science as a tool to demean religion. In fact, they are nothing the same. Please refer to my previous message to TEmujin if you want my two cents on that matter.
T> beings. When Einstein created the theory of relativity, he did not intend T> to help create the atom bomb. The government took his theory and had the What would be a greater injustice; robbing ourselves and pretending to not have the knowledge to create "The Bomb" or doing it? The question here is not Einstein's ethics....Einstein innovated the world....the question here is the United State's Governments ethics on the matter. They were the ones who dropped it. Not Einstein.
T> needed in the science field. If religion teaches you right from wrong (I am T> not a religious type so I don't know too much about religion) it can be used T> in science to stop potentially dangerous inventions, or just keep the people T> from using it in a wrong fashion. The second one is what the purpose of religion is. Science is much easier to follow since it doesn't condemn anyone. It is based on tangible proof that people can touch and feel....and the materialism so evident in our society today furthermore fuels that fire. People are engulfed by the accquisition of "stuff", so as a result, a belief system (when science isn't a belief system at all) that can provide tangible results it far "better" to them than one that doesn't- that requires faith.
