Yeah, it may be their official second language, but if you go anywhere in the states and you only speak Spanish, you don't have access to all their services like you do here in Canada. Say, if you are entering the country, and you try to talk to one of the border guards, well, too bad, you have to wait till they can find someone you can talk to you, where in Canada, any employee of the government who has contact with the public must be able to speak fluently in both French and English, or if someone only speaks French, they have to be able to get someone RIGHT AWAY who can talk to the person.
