Heh... Yeah, I started learning C/C++ way back about halfway through gr.10,
when I realised, "Fuck, Turing sucks!" :) Also I've found that a modem was THE
best tool for learning programming. I got HelpPc over the modem, which is
awesome for hardware stuff, and just being able to find people who know more
than you and ask them questions.. Ugh, then there's Pascal :)
