Well, let's put it another way... *IF* we must classify Quebec as a distinct and unique society... so must we classify all the other provinces. If I am distinct and unique as opposed to you - then you must be distinct and unique to me! Further... look at the Atlantic provinces - the cultural differences. Surely they must be classed and unique... likewise the NOrthwest Territories... These are very obvious examples of course. But for Quebec to be distinct... then the others MUST be distinct in relation to it. Which makes the whole thing totally and completely pointless!
